In 2019, the external assessment of academic achievements in secondary education (hereinafter referred to as the  EAAA SE ) was conducted from April 17 to 25. The testing took place in the 4th, 9th and 11th grades of the organization of secondary education, a total of 785 schools participated, 122,252 students.

 

EAAA SE for the 4th grades was conducted in the form of a comprehensive test using questionnaire books and answer sheets.

 

The test consisted of 2 subjects: mathematics and the language of instruction (Kazakh/Russian).

 

Number of participants: 62,691 students, including

  • in Kazakh – 40,574,
  • in Russian – 22,117.

 

Average score for the republic (out of a possible 30 points): 19, 78 points, including

  • in Kazakh – 19.56,
  • in Russian – 20,17.

 

EAAA SE for the 9th grades was conducted in the form of complex testing, both with the use of questionnaire books and answer sheets, and with the use of computers online.

 

The test consisted of 2 subjects: the Kazakh language (mandatory) and one of the general education subjects.

 

Number of participants: 46,032 students, including

 

  • in Kazakh – 29,658,
  • in Russian – 14,827,
  • in Tajik – 131,
  • in Uzbek – 1 321,
  • in the Uyghur language-95.

 

Average score for the republic (out of a possible 75 points): 40.08 points, including

 

  • in Kazakh – 39.16,
  • in Russian – 42,15,
  • in Tajik – 24,22,
  • in Uzbek – 37.40,
  • in the Uyghur language – 62.63.

 

EAAA SE for the 11th grades was conducted in the form of comprehensive testing, both using questionnaire books and answer sheets, and using computers online.

 

The test consisted of 3 subjects: history of Kazakhstan, Kazakh language, physics (schools with training in Kazakh/Russian), algebra and the beginning of analysis (national schools).

 

Number of students who took part in the test: 13,529, including

 

  • in the Kazakh language – 8,882,
  • in Russian – 3,765,
  • in Tajik – 124,
  • in Uzbek – 738,
  • in the Uyghur language-20.

 

Average score for the republic (out of a possible 100 points): 57.30 points, including

 

  • in Kazakh – 58.10,
  • in Russian – 56.34,
  • in Tajik – 41.94,
  • in Uzbek – 54.48,
  • in the Uyghur language – 81.35.
