Acceptance of applications for participation in the competition for the award of an educational grant for postgraduate education with the award of the “Master's degree”

Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until August 20 of this year.In the competition for the award of an educational grant of the master's degree, the points of the CT results for the profile of the group of educational programs, a foreign language, and the determination of readiness for learning are taken into account.

In the case of identical indicators of CT results, the priority right is given to persons who have a high score on the test results for the profile of a group of educational programs, then the results of the test for determining readiness for learning are taken into account, then the results of the test in a foreign language, and then-GPA (Grade Point Average-Great Point Everage) in the appendix to the diploma (previous level of education) and experience

List of documents for participation in the competition for the award of the state educational grant of the degree “Master”

To participate in the competition for the award of an educational grant of postgraduate education, the applicant submits to the admission committee of the OVPO:

1) the application on the form of the established sample;

2) the document on higher education (the original in case of submission of the document to the admission committee of the OVPO);

3) CT certificate (in case of submission of the document to the admission committee of the OVPO);

4) medical documentation in the form 086-U in electronic format, approved by the order of the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 23, 2010 No. 907 "On Approval of forms of primary medical documentation of health organizations" (registered in the Register of State Registration of Regulatory Legal Acts under No. 6697);

5) a copy of the identity card.

The applicant for the master's program in the application indicates a group of educational programs and three OVPO.

Admission under the state educational grant

For education under the state educational order on a competitive basis, the persons who have scored the highest points on the CT and (or) the entrance exam and (or) the creative exams are enrolled:

1) for scientific and pedagogical and specialized master's degree programs, including for groups of educational programs that require creative training, for groups of educational programs that require knowledge of the Arabic language-at least 75 points;

2) for a master's degree program with English as the language of instruction – at least 50 points.

Enrollment for training in educational organizations that implement educational programs of postgraduate education

Admission of persons to the master's program on a paid basis is carried out according to the results of the CT in accordance with the Scale of the 150-point assessment system for CT in the master's program with the Kazakh or Russian language of instruction at least 50 points, while in a foreign language – at least 25 points, according to the profile of the group of educational programs: with the choice of one correct answer – at least 7 points, with the choice of one or more correct answers – at least 7 points, on the test for determining readiness for learning – at least 7 points.

Admission of persons to the master's program with the English language of instruction on a paid basis is carried out according to the results of the CT in accordance with the Scale of the 100-point assessment system for CT in the master's program with the English language of instruction of at least 25 points, while on the test to determine readiness for learning – at least 7 points, on the profile of the group of educational programs: with the choice of one correct answer – at least 7 points, with the choice of one or more correct answers – at least 7 points.

Admission of persons to the master's program in groups of educational programs that require creative training on a paid basis is carried out according to the results of CT and creative exams in the profile of the group of educational programs: at least 50 points, while in a foreign language – at least 25 points, in a test to determine readiness for learning – at least 7 points and in creative exams – at least 7 points for each creative exam.

For each creative exam, the maximum number of points should be 35.

Admission of persons to the master's program in groups of educational programs that require knowledge of Arabic on a paid basis is carried out according to the results of the entrance exam in Arabic and CT: at least 50 points, while in Arabic – at least 25 points, according to the profile of the group of educational programs: with the choice of one correct answer – at least 7 points, with the choice of one or more correct answers – at least 7 points, according to the test for determining readiness for learning – at least 7 points.

Exemption from comprehensive testing in the master's program .

Persons entering the master's program in the groups of educational programs in the fields of education "Pedagogical Sciences", "Natural Sciences, mathematics and statistics", "Information and Communication Technologies", "Engineering, Manufacturing and construction industries", as well as in the areas of training "Humanities", "Social Sciences", "Business and Management" are exempt from CT in the master's program with Kazakh or Russian language of instruction in the presence of an international certificate of passing the standardized test Graduate Record Examinations (GRE).

Scale of conversion of the points of the international certificate of the standardized test GRE into the points of the CT in the master's program with the Kazakh or Russian language of instruction

Persons entering the master's program in the groups of educational programs in the fields of education "Pedagogical Sciences", "Natural Sciences, mathematics and statistics", "Information and Communication Technologies", "Engineering, Manufacturing and construction industries", as well as in the areas of training" Humanities"," Social Sciences"," Business and Management " are exempt from CT in the master's program with the English language of instruction if they have an international certificate of passing the standardized test Graduate Record Examinations ( GRE).

Persons entering the master's program in the groups of educational programs of the direction of training personnel "Business and Management" are exempt from CT in the master's program with Kazakh or Russian languages of instruction in the presence of an international certificate of passing the standardized test Graduate Management Admission Test (Graduate management admission Test) GMAT.
