Unified National Testing (UNT) is one of the forms of selection exams for admission to organizations of higher and (or) postgraduate education. The UNT is held for: * students of the final 11 (12) classes of secondary education organizations for admission to the university on a paid basis at will; · graduates of secondary education organizations of the current year to participate in the competition for the award of an educational grant at the expense of the republican budget or the local budget or for admission to the university on a paid basis at will; * graduates of secondary education organizations of previous years, technical and vocational or post-secondary education to participate in the competition for the award of an educational grant at the expense of the republican budget or the local budget, or to enroll in a university on a paid basis at will; * graduates of technical and vocational or post-secondary education who are enrolled in educational programs of higher education that provide for shorter training periods to participate in the competition for the award of an educational grant at the expense of the republican budget or the local budget, if desired; * graduates of secondary education organizations who have studied under the international exchange of students abroad, as well as persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who have graduated from educational institutions abroad to participate in the competition for the award of an educational grant at the expense of the republican budget or the local budget, or to enroll in a university on a paid basis at will; * persons enrolled in full-time universities on a paid basis, who did not score a threshold score on the results of the UNT, with UNT results with inappropriate combinations of specialized subjects, with canceled UNT results for further enrollment in the university on a paid basis in the calendar year; · students of universities in a group of educational programs that require creative training, and those who want to transfer to other groups of educational programs. The cost of payment for testing is 2242 tenge. Payment for participation in the Unified National Testing is made at the time of submitting an online application using a bank card or through the app Kaspi.kz. UNT format: 5 subjects (3 mandatory + 2 specialized). There are 120 test tasks in total. Total test time: 4 hours (240 minutes). An appeal is provided.

Maximum score: 140.
A passing grade: In the national OHPGE – at least 65 points, and in the field of education "Pedagogical Sciences" − at least 70 points, in the fields of education" Agriculture and bioresources"," Veterinary Medicine " - at least 60 points. In other OHPGE-not less than 50 points, and in the field of "Pedagogical Sciences" – not less than 70 points, in the field of education" Health and social security (medicine) " - not less than 65 points. Also, each OHPGE sets its own passing score for groups of educational programs. Specialized subjects are selected in accordance with the selected group of educational programs in the OHPGE.

Admission to the OHPGE of persons with technical and professional or post-secondary education with the qualification of "mid-level specialist" or "applied bachelor" in related areas of training of higher education personnel, providing for reduced training periods, entering paid training is carried out by the admission committees of the OHPGE. The results of the UNT is not required.
