Announcement about the date of implementing qualification testing of teachers in 2016.
The first testing QTT is to be held from 15 to 18 November 2016, followed by the re-testing from 19 to 21 December 2016.
Qualification testing of teachers is one of the essential stages in the early qualification of teaching staff, which is carried out to determine the level of professional competence.
To participate in the testing, the teachers have to submit applications to the local certification commission. Applications of teachers are registered under the established regional (city) departments of education. The teachers get an identification pass to participate in the testing.
Submission of applications for participation in the first testing, which will take place from 15 to 18 November is open from October 17 to November 1st. To participate in the re-testing (December 19-21) applications can be submitted from 28 November to 9 December.
Qualification testing of teachers is an online computer-based testing conducted with the help of special software by the National Testing Center.
Test result is considered positive when the test taker receives at least 70% correct answers on the "Basics of subject knowledge," 50% on "Fundamentals of Pedagogy and Psychology", 50% on "Knowledge of the legislation of Kazakhstan".
QTT results are issued after the completion of all cohorts in the educational institutions where testing is conducted. Moreover, teaching staff have the opportunity to get the results after the test is completed or after the test online on NTC website.
Currently, since September 26 NTC has launched an access to the trial testing on NTC website aimed to familiarize teaching staff with exemplary tests, as well as for production skills to work with software. Trial online testing is available until 21 December. For more information about trial testing, please, refer to http://www.testcenter.kz/ru/schools/ktpr-tests/.
