Persons entering the master's program pass:

Russian Russian or Kazakh master's degree program - a comprehensive test consisting of a test in a foreign language (English, French, German optional), a test on the profile of a group of educational programs, a test to determine the readiness to study in Kazakh or Russian;

for the master's degree program with English as the language of instruction-a comprehensive test consisting of a test on the profile of a group of educational programs in English and a test to determine readiness to study in Kazakh or Russian or English (optional);

for the master's degree programs in groups of educational programs that require creative training:

1) test in a foreign language of choice (English, French, German) and test to determine the readiness to study by choice in Kazakh or Russian;

2) two creative exams on the profile of the group of educational programs.

Creative examinations in the profile of groups of educational programs that require creative training are conducted independently by organizations of higher and postgraduate education that provide admission to educational programs of postgraduate education. The applicant passes creative exams on the profile of groups of educational programs of postgraduate education in the university to which he enters.

For the  the master's program for groups of educational programs that require knowledge of the Arabic language, you pass:

1) entrance exam in Arabic;

2) CT, which includes a test to determine readiness for training, a test on the profile of groups of educational programs, optionally in Kazakh or Russian.

Persons who have one of the international certificates confirming their proficiency in a foreign language in accordance with the pan-European competencies (standards) of foreign language proficiency are exempt from the foreign language test CT in the master's program in the following languages:

• English: IELTS (IELTS) / International English Language Tests System , threshold score-not less than 6.0;
• IELTS INDICATOR , threshold score-not less than 6.0;
• Test of English as a Foreign Language Institutional Testing Programm , TOEFL ITP,  threshold score-at least 543 points;
• Test of English as a Foreign Language Institutional Testing Programm , Internet-based Test, TOEFL IBT, threshold score – at least 60;
• TOEFL PBT , Test of English as a Foreign Language Paper-based testing, threshold score-at least 498;
• German: Deutsche Sprachpruefung fuer den Hochschulzugang (DSH, Niveau C1 / level C1), TestDaF-Prufung (NiveauC1/уровень C1);
• French: Test de Francais International – not lower than level B1 in the reading and listening sections), Diplome d'Etudes en Langue francaise (DELF , level B2), Diplome Approfondi de Langue francaise – DALF, level C1), Test de connaissance du français – TCF– at least 50 points).

The format of comprehensive testing for a master's degree program with Kazakh or Russian language of instruction

The number of test tasks is 130.

The test time is 235 minutes (3 hours 55 minutes).

*for admission to the master's program in groups of educational programs that require knowledge of the Arabic language, an entrance exam in the Arabic language is passed

*for admission to the master's program in groups of educational programs that require creative training, creative exams are passed.
